I was going to write a post about how the City of Waterloo’s streetscape plan for Uptown Waterloo only meets the bare minimum provision for cycling (contrary to their talk of making cycling a priority), but Chris Klein from TriTAG beat me to it.  Check out his post here:

I think there is a trend of pointing out inadequate cycling infrastructure because cities are increasingly building cycling infrastructure without the proper understanding of how to make it suitable for everyone. A decade ago, the call was to build cycling infrastructure. Now that cities are doing that, the call is to build it properly.
